A few years ago, I got stopped at a traffic check near Gachibowli. My licence was at home in another wallet. Mild panic. Then I remembered I had DigiLocker on my phone, opened it, showed the licence, and that was the end of it. That moment sold me on DigiLocker. It’s one of those genuinely … Read more
iPhone users have it easy here – there’s a “Battery Health” percentage right in Settings. On Android, it’s a bit of a treasure hunt. Some phones show it clearly, some hide it, some don’t show it at all. But battery health is worth knowing. It tells you whether your phone’s “bad battery life” is a … Read more
When people tell me "ChatGPT gives such boring answers", I usually ask to see what they typed. Nine times out of ten, it's something like "write about healthy food" or "make a resume". That's like walking into a tailor and saying "make a shirt". You'll get a shirt. Probably not the one you wanted. AI … Read more
That little "Your storage is almost full" banner shows up on almost every phone in my family. Usually it appears right when someone's at a wedding with 400 new photos to back up. Before you rush to buy a Google One plan – or worse, start deleting things randomly – let's slow down. There's usually … Read more
Getting a new phone is exciting. Opening WhatsApp on it and seeing zero chats – years of family photos, voice notes from your grandmother, that one important document someone sent you in 2021 – is not. Every metro coach in Hyderabad has at least one person watching a reel on full speaker volume. You know the one. And at least five people with little white or black buds in their ears, looking peacefully unbothered. So the question I keep getting from friends and family is simple: are those ₹1,000–2,000 earbuds actually … Read more
UPI is honestly one of the best things to happen to everyday payments in India. My neighbourhood tea stall takes it, the vegetable vendor takes it, my mother takes it from her cousins. But because everyone uses it, scammers love it too. The good news? Almost every UPI scam depends on one of a handful … Read more
Most "best AI tools for students" lists I see are just 30 logos with a line each, half of which want a credit card on day two. That's not helpful when you're a student in Warangal or Pune with a Jio plan and zero budget for subscriptions. So here's a shorter, more honest list: tools … Read more
A few weeks back, I asked ChatGPT for the opening hours of a small museum in Hyderabad. It gave me neat timings, a closed day, even a ticket price. All very confident. When I actually checked, the closed day was wrong. That's the strange thing about AI chatbots. They're often brilliant, and sometimes wrong in … Read more
Every few months a friend hands me their phone and says, "Bro, it's become so slow." Sometimes they're right. Other times the phone is fine and it's one bad app, a full storage bar, or a phone that's been cooking in a jeans pocket on a Hyderabad afternoon. So before you start pricing new phones … Read more
